Is the output an .xlsx file?

We generate a CSV (comma/semicolon/tab separated values), which opens cleanly in Excel and Google Sheets—no extra libraries required.

The columns look off—how can I improve detection?

Increase/decrease Row tolerance and Column gap sensitivity. Higher sensitivity merges columns; lower splits more aggressively. Table OCR is heuristic—results vary by PDF.

Does this run fully offline?

Yes, everything runs in your browser using pdf.js. Your PDFs never leave your device.

Can it extract images or complex tables perfectly?

This version focuses on text-based tables. Very complex layouts may need manual cleanup after import.
